Industrial Hydraulic Cylinders
Parker’s Industrial Cylinder Division manufactures the largest and most complete selection of cylinders and actuators in the world. Compact, Custom, Electrohydraulic, Electromechanical, ISO, Mill Duty, Roundline, Stainless Steel, Tie Rod, Rotary Actuators and Cylinder Accessories.

ETH Series Electromechanical Actuators
The Parker ETH Series is the next generation version of the well-known, widely used ET Series. The ETH design offers unrivaled power density due to larger screw and bearing designs in smaller packages. The result is a product that offers increased force output from a given frame size or increased product life at the same force output.
Available in three profile sizes with both in-line and parallel motor configurations. ETH cylinders provide stroke lengths up to 1600 mm and speeds to 1.7 m/sec.

XFC Extreme Force Electromechanical Actuators
The XFC provides machinery builders a high force electro-mechanical solution offering long life, minimal maintenance, and low operating costs while still maintaining structural rigidity.
Available in six frame sizes (75mm-190mm), continuous thrust to 178 kN (40,000 pounds), strokes from 50mm to 2000mm and speeds up to 40 inches per second.

HyperCyl Hydra-Pneumatic Cylinders
Completely Self-Contained, Cost-Effective power source ideally suited for a wide variety of Pressing and Forming applications.

IntelliCyl Series
The IntelliCyl is the successful combination of HyperCyl’s hydra-pneumatic cylinder systems and state of the art electronic technology. IntelliCyl was designed for applications where continuous monitoring of materials and processes is critical to the successful assembly of components. IntelliCyl consists of two options:
1) Low voltage Linear transducer (LVLT)
2) Fully integrated Load Cell installed on the end of the cylinder rod.
Both devices provide for an analog feedback signal through an analog card to the PLC. The feedback signals indicate distance (cylinder travel) to +-.001″ and force(lbs.) applied to the tooling.

Linear Position Sensors
The Gemco line of Linear Displacement Transducers use advanced field proven Magnetostrictive technology to solve complex linear positioning applications. Engineered to perform and built to last, the Gemco linear displacement products and their complementary components will meet and exceed your process and positioning needs.

Custom Systems
Our power unit facility, located in our Ft Wayne Indiana headquarters, can design, build and test standard or custom hydraulic power units for a variety of applications. In addition we also design and build other custom products such as test stands and can provide and integrate a full controls package with our hydraulic units.

Variable Speed Drives
IFP Engineers can help you improve efficiency in hydraulic systems with electronic control technologies. In many industrial processes involving a hydraulic pump, an unregulated motor running at maximum speed is probably wasting energy.
Reducing the motor speed during low flow demand or parts of the cycle requiring pressure to be held can achieve significant energy savings. By using variable speed drive technology, instant savings can be realized. By automatically adapting the pump’s speed to match changes in demand, variable speed drives are the perfect addition to many hydraulic systems.
Integrated Circuits & Custom Manifold Systems
IFP engineers are trained to provide application assistance as well as circuit & custom manifold design. Our Ft Wayne facility is also fully equipped to build and test complete integrated circuits and IFP custom manifold products.

Parker Standard Hydraulic Power Units
Parker Hydraulic Power Units are ideal for many industrial applications and are available in a large variety of pressure and flow ranges, reservoir capacities, materials and fluid compatibility. Space saving vertical style units are available with gear pumps and are designed for quiet and leak-free operation. Standard Parker filtration on each unit will help ensure a long service life.

Piston pumps
PD Series: Variable displacement, axial piston pumps for open-circuit applications. Medium pressure, continuous operation at pressures up to 4060 PSI (280 BAR). Compact, quiet and efficient control.
PVplus Series: PVplus piston pumps are ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications with operating pressure up to 5000 PSI (350 BAR). These pumps respond quickly to system demands and, with the use of “ripple chamber” technology, are some of the quietest piston pumps available.
PAVC Series: PAVC piston pumps are ideal for many industrial applications with operating pressure up to 3000 psi. These compact pumps feature convenient cartridge style controls and carry a full pressure rating on most water glycol fluids.

Variable Speed Drives:
IFP Engineers can help you improve efficiency in hydraulic systems with electronic control technologies. In many industrial processes involving a hydraulic pump, an unregulated motor running at maximum speed is probably wasting energy.

By using variable speed drive technology, instant savings can be realized. By automatically adapting the pump’s speed to match changes in demand, variable speed drives are the perfect addition to many hydraulic systems.
Example of energy saving
Tests run on a hydraulic press system clearly show that substantial savings on energy are possible using our variable speed drive to reduce motor speed during parts of the machine cycle with low flow demand. Plus, by over-speeding a pump at times of low pressure demand, a second pump could be eliminated. The result in this case was an average power need of just 34 HP (25kW) compared to 50 HP (38kW) using an unregulated pump, over the entire press cycle.
